GLOBIS Capital Partners Co., Ltd.

GLOBIS Capital Partners (GCP) is a leading venture capital fund based in Tokyo, Japan, with aggregated assets under management (AUM) of over 1.3 billion USD. As the first hands-on VC in Japan, GCP has invested into over 210 companies, including Visual, Yappli, and Mercari, mostly as a lead investor, and helped many of them grow into strong stock listed companies.

Social Change

G1 is a forum and network for next-generation leaders to gather, discuss, and act toward the rebirth of Japan in a turbulent world. KIBOW began in 2012 as a project to provide disaster relief and enduring support for reconstruction efforts following the 2011 Great Tohoku Earthquake. Today, the mission has evolved, empowering social entrepreneurs through impact investing.

Regional Revitalization

GLOBIS aims to create a ‘pioneering model for regional revitalization’ in Mito and Ibaraki through local initiatives and contributions in sports, media, entertainment, and urban development by the four companies under the Lucky Robots Group.
