Singapore – The President of GLOBIS Asia Campus and GLOBIS Asia Pacific, Tomoko Katsurayama, spoke at the 28th Future of Asia conference, hosted by Nikkei. Future of Asia is a conference where political, economic, and academic leaders from APAC discuss regional issues and Asia’s role in the world. Held by Nikkei every year since 1995, it is considered to be one of the most important global conferences in Asia.

The discussions at this year’s conference included how Asia should face global challenges such as climate change, the polarizing global political climate, and the fragmentation of supply chains. Participating leaders this year included Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister, Lawrence Wong, Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam, Tran Luu Quang, President of Sri Lanka, Ranil Wickremesinghe, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Don Pramudwinai, and Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida.
