Before joining GLOBIS, Ms. Tomoko Kimijima worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company Inc. While there, she provided consulting services related to business analysis and strategic planning, marketing strategy development, cost reduction, and business management system creation for public institutions and companies. These projects spanned a wide range of fields, including food and beverage, communications, pharmaceuticals, and finance.

When Ms. Kimijima first joined GLOBIS, she was in charge of graduate school establishment and program development for the current Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University. She then supervised program development and served as director of corporate training before assuming her current position as faculty director, where she oversees research and development activities and faculty development. As a lecturer, she teaches Critical Thinking and Human Resource Management. As the leader of a human resources management and organizational behavior research group, she is also involved in researching female labor and human resource management at Japanese companies. She is a member of the Career Design Institute Japan.

Ms. Kimijima graduated from the College of Liberal Arts at International Christian University, then went on to receive her MA from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tokyo. She also holds an MBA in career studies from Hosei University’s Graduate School of Business Administration.
