Junji started his career in a Japanese manufacturing company in 2005, acquiring skill sets and a mindset in the areas of FP&A and management planning through business management and planning roles at both domestic and overseas subsidiaries. In the global domain, particularly in China, Thailand, Indonesia, and India, he has contributed to resolving various management issues and achieving business goals as a reliable advisor to local management teams (primarily composed of Japanese expatriates) and locally-hired global staff. Based on these experiences, Junji possesses strong expertise in establishing management control systems, constructing and operating governance and internal control frameworks, designing and running back-office departments in overseas, and educating and mentoring local back-office members at overseas subsidiaries.
At GLOBIS, Junji leverages the capabilities honed throughout his previous career to lead the Global Support Team. His team’s vision is to actively pursue and establish a Management Control System tailored to the company, thereby elevating its influence on the local business’s management decision-making, and involvement in executing the overall corporate strategy. Specifically, support is provided on governance, practical advisory assistance to local subsidiaries, and project support from legal, accounting, HR, finance perspectives during the establishment of new global offices.
Junji holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Washington University and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Chiba University of Commerce.
