GLOBIS and ESADE Business School Launch Partnership with International Immersion Program in Tokyo

TOKYO (February 27, 2026)—GLOBIS Corporation partnered with ESADE Business School, one of Europe’s leading business schools, to co-host an immersive program. The program, held in February 2026 at the GLOBIS University Tokyo Campus, marked the first jointly delivered program between the two institutions.

ESADE Business School is based in Barcelona, Spain, and is part of Ramon Llull University. Founded in 1958, ESADE develops globally minded leaders through its bachelors, MSc’s, MBA’s, as well as its executive education for organizations. Known for integrating academic rigor with practical relevance and for its emphasis on values-based leadership and social responsibility, ESADE attracts participants from around the world.

About the Program

The program, titled “International Immersion Week: Japan”, was held over five days from February 9 to 13, 2026, at the GLOBIS University Tokyo Campus. Approximately 90 executives enrolled in ESADE’s Executive MBA program traveled to Japan and deepened their learning through lectures, discussions, and experiential sessions.

Under the theme “The Continuum: Where Tradition and Innovation Coexist,” participants explored how cultural foundations and long-standing values have coexisted with cutting-edge innovation in Japan, supporting sustainable growth for organizations and society.

A defining key message of the program was that tradition and innovation are not opposing forces, but elements that can strengthen one another. As interest in Japanese culture continues to grow globally, the program is designed to provide a structured opportunity to learn about the distinct characteristics of Japanese management and organizational practices. Participant’s feedback pointed to meaningful mindset shifts, fresh perspectives, and deeper understanding of Japanese culture and business style.
