GLOBIS President Hori Holds Exclusive Seminar in Muscat to Advance Strategic Collaboration

CATEGORIES:CORPORATE TRAINING

Muscat, Oman—In late November, GLOBIS Founder and President Yoshito Hori travelled to Muscat to hold an exclusive president’s seminar and advance collaboration with key partners in Oman. The program included Hori’s first meeting as a member of the Royal Academy of Management’s (RAM) International Advisory Board, site visits and interviews at the Academy, a GLOBIS-hosted luncheon for leaders, and the president seminar that gathered nearly two hundred participants.

International Advisory Board and Partnership

Hori’s participation in the inaugural meeting of the International Advisory Board marked the start of his two-year tenure. Discussions focused on leadership and management education in Oman and future areas of cooperation. This engagement builds on the partnership launched in 2024, when GLOBIS facilitated an education module for fifty RAM students.

During the visit, GLOBIS Europe representatives toured RAM facilities and took part in a series of conversations that highlighted the Academy’s role in developing future leaders and underscored a shared interest in practical and values-driven management education.

Leadership Luncheon and Seminar

GLOBIS also hosted a luncheon in Muscat that brought together business leaders, diplomats, and entrepreneurs, including Dr. Suad Al Mudhaffar, HE Dr. Ali Qassim Jawad Al Lawati, and HE Mr. Kiyoshi Serizawa, Ambassador of Japan to Oman. Discussions touched on emerging opportunities for collaboration and the growing relationship between Japan and Oman.

The visit concluded with the president seminar at the Mandarin Oriental, Muscat, where guests explored the future of business education. The session was moderated by GLOBIS Europe CEO Aiste Dewulf.

These initiatives highlight a shared commitment between GLOBIS and its Omani partners to advancing practical, values-driven leadership education. Building on this momentum, GLOBIS looks forward to expanding its contribution to the country’s management landscape.
