GLOBIS Unlimited Launches Business Microlearning Service for Corporate Users

(Tokyo, Japan) On November 19, GLOBIS entered a new era as a leading provider of business education in Asia. The GLOBIS Unlimited service, now available to corporate clients, combines technology with the practical business knowledge of Japan’s No. 1 MBA. Through manageable microlearning, courses cover a range of topics and feature top faculty and industry professionals.

GLOBIS Unlimited builds on the success of the Japanese service GLOBIS Manabihodai, which launched in August 2016 and now boasts over 60,000 users, including corporate users from over 1,000 companies. The Chinese version of GLOBIS Manabihodai was launched in January 2018 and now serves over 300 companies. GLOBIS Unlimited follows a similar subscription model to its predecessors, but aims to augment the scope of learning by raising the business competencies of global companies and future business leaders in English.

More than MBA basics, the GLOBIS Unlimited curriculum, launching with 40 courses, includes unique content reflective of GLOBIS specialties, including “Leadership with Passion through Kokorozashi” and “Technovate Thinking.” There are nine subject categories and four types of courses to choose from, as well as various learning formats: lectures, animation, interviews, and quizzes. Further, with videos just three-to-ten minutes long, these microlearning courses are designed to fit into even the busiest schedules.

To celebrate the release of GLOBIS Unlimited, a seminar will be held on Friday, December 6 for HR professionals and training managers. Mr. Piotr Feliks Grzywacz, who promoted Google’s organizational development, and Mr. Nobuto Doi, HR director at Tokyo Electron, will discuss how the role of HR is changing in the era of digital learning.
