Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo–Effective October 28, GLOBIS Corporation will integrate its business e-learning subscription services—the Japanese version, GLOBIS Manabi-Hodai (GLOBIS 学び放題), and English version, GLOBIS Unlimited—to be offered as a single service. This change allows users to seamlessly access both services under one contract at no additional cost, simplifying a process that previously required separate contracts.
Moving forward, GLOBIS plans to further enhance the learning experience in Japanese and English, including through the use of AI, and will continue to support the growth of business professionals and companies operating in the global market.
Background
Since its launch in 2016, GLOBIS Manabi-Hodai (GLOBIS 学び放題) has been used by a cumulative 1.3 million business professionals, primarily in Japan. GLOBIS Unlimited was created to meet the need for global talent development across national and linguistic borders and is used by professionals in more than fifty countries worldwide.
By combining the Japanese and English plans, GLOBIS addresses the rising need in Japan and overseas to develop global talent. Establishing a consistent learning environment that transcends language and geographic boundaries is crucial for efficient talent development. The unified plan now allows learners to seamlessly access content in both Japanese and English, effectively supporting human resource development both domestically and internationally.
Service Integration Overview
With the service integration, all individual and corporate users holding an active contract for either GLOBIS Manabi-Hodai or GLOBIS Unlimited will be able to access the content of both services without additional charge from the integration date. This also includes new users contracting after the integration date.
The changes apply to both the mobile app and website versions of GLOBIS Manabi-Hodai and GLOBIS Unlimited.

New Subscriptions after the Integration Date
New subscribers can select either GLOBIS Manabi-Hodai or GLOBIS Unlimited based on their primary language of use. Regardless of the selection, content in the other language will be accessible. Subtitles in languages other than Japanese are only available for GLOBIS Unlimited content.

All users (both individual and corporate users) with a plan that is effective on or after the service integration date for either GLOBIS Manabi-Hodai or GLOBIS Unlimited.

Key Changes
- Learners can now switch between the Japanese and English user interfaces depending on the language in which they wish to study, regardless of which service was contracted.
- Corporate administrators can now centrally monitor the learning history of their employees across both services using the administrative screen. Furthermore, they will be able to set up Custom Learning Paths*4 that combine courses from both services.
*4 Custom Learning Paths allow corporate users to create packages of courses that combine various courses from GLOBIS Manabi-Hodai and GLOBIS Unlimited based on the knowledge they want their employees to acquire.
