GLOBIS University to Hold Additional Full-time MBA Application Round Due to COVID-19

Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo – GLOBIS University has created an additional application round for the English Full-time MBA. The new application round, which will close on June 24, 2020, aims to offer a path forward for those whose plans to study abroad have been disrupted by travel restrictions or fears of contracting COVID-19. Successful applicants who submit their application by the new deadline will begin their studies in September 2020. As with all incoming students, GLOBIS will support visas as necessary.

With more than 90% of students coming from outside of Japan, the GLOBIS Full-time MBA offers a truly global study experience from the university’s campus in central Tokyo. In 2019, the English MBA programs (Full-time MBA Program and Part-time & Online MBA Program) had a total of 91 students from 27 countries.

In response to the spread of COVID-19, and based on its many years of online teaching, GLOBIS University moved all of its classes online on March 2 to provide a safe learning environment. In addition, it created a loan for MBA students economically impacted by COVID-19.

GLOBIS University strives to equip future business leaders with cutting edge management knowledge through technovate courses, seminars with top global leaders, and other unique student experiences. In 2019, the university held multiple seminars with top global leaders, including a lecture by Mr. Porter Erisman, former Vice President of the Alibaba Group.
