GLOBIS University Celebrates 2025 Part-time and Online English MBA Graduation: Surpassing 1,000 English MBA Graduates

CATEGORIES:GLOBIS UNIVERSITY

Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo—GLOBIS University held its graduation ceremony for the 2025 Part-time and Online English MBA Program on November 23. With 66 students from 21 nations and regions graduating, the English MBA Programs have reached a total of over 1,000 graduates. The festivities were held both online and in-person at GLOBIS Hall.

To celebrate this milestone, GLOBIS University President and Founder Yoshito Hori gave a special address to the fresh graduates, sending them off into their future;

Today, I am excited to have 66 Visionary Leaders starting a new life after GLOBIS.
In fact, your class marks a historic milestone for us: with your graduation, the English MBA Program has now surpassed 1,000 graduates.
Despite this year’s challenges, you stayed united and continued studying to finish your MBA program. I am proud of the leaders you have become.

Two graduates gave speeches about their experience at GLOBIS and their outlook to the future.
Academic Excellent Award Recipient Federico Martin Taicher from Israel thanked those who helped him achieve this milestone and reminded his cohort of the importance of their journey together;

The true value of this journey lies in the discussions we had, the debates that challenged us, the late-night messages in group chats, and the community events that brought us together. It lies in the realization that we don’t grow alone—we grow with those who walk beside us. So, before we step into our next chapter, I’d like to invite everyone to look around. Look at the faces in this room.
These are the people who helped you get here.

Ma. Krystle Marianne Yap from the Philippines, Student Social Representative of this cohort, spoke about her experience as online student and the discovery of her kokorozashi;

Kokorozashi is a paradox: deeply personal, yet meant for the greater good. It grows with us, shaped by our experiences, reflections, and connections. More importantly, more than defining our kokorozashi, acting on it is essential. At GLOBIS, we’ve gained not just MBA knowledge, but the tools and inspiration to define our personal mission and pursue it boldly — and that, to me, is the true gift of this journey.

The GLOBIS English Part-time and Online MBA Program was launched in 2009, with the online component introduced in 2017. The English MBA program has since celebrated a total of 1,050 graduates.
With over 50% of students coming from outside of Japan, the Part-time & Online MBA Program at GLOBIS University offers a global study experience, both online and in person.
The graduates come from 21 nations and regions: Canada, China, France, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liberia, Netherlands, Nigeria, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, the United States, and Vietnam.
