GLOBIS University Launches GAiChaL to Create World’s First ChatGPT-enhanced Hybrid MBA Business Course

Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo–In March 2023, GLOBIS University developed GLOBIS AI Chat Learning (GAiChaL), an interactive learning system utilizing ChatGPT. It will be released mid-March for use in the GLOBIS nano-MBA in Japanese. GAiChaL aims to be a world leader for AI-enhanced business education.

GAiChaL was developed by the GLOBIS AI Management Education Research Institute (GAiMERi) using the ChatGPT API. It will help students learn business administration concepts through two-way interactions in natural language.

GLOBIS previously developed GLOBIS-AQZ, a deep learning-enabled AI  for playing the board game Go, with the support of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). By leveraging GAiMERi’s research in tandem with cutting-edge technology, GLOBIS will continue to provide optimal learning opportunities for business professionals.

The GLOBIS nano-MBA is a unique approach to business education, compacting study for partial MBA credit (0.5 credits per course) which can be transferred to the Full-time MBA or Part-time & Online MBA programs at GLOBIS University. The nano-MBA includes a variety of educational media to enhance the study experience: live classes, videos, comprehension exercises with AI feedback, and reflection sessions. At the end of the course, students can use GAiChaL AI to practice applying what they’ve learned through discussions about hypothetical business situations.
