GLOBIS Establishes Overseas Hub in Taiwan—Accelerating Efforts to Become World’s No. 1 School for Business Education & Training
TOKYO (April 24, 2026)—On April 23, 2026, GLOBIS Group announced that it will establish GLOBIS Taiwan Co., Ltd. (“GLOBIS Taiwan”), in the second half of this year. The new hub in Taipei marks the sixth overseas location by GLOBIS in Asia, and the eighth worldwide.
To commemorate the occasion, GLOBIS Founder and President Yoshito Hori held an exclusive President’s Seminar titled “Rethinking the MBA: Become a Purpose-Driven Leader for the Digital Age,” where he discussed the relevance of an MBA in 2026. The seminar offered a unique opportunity for participants to ask Mr. Hori questions about his vision for education.
The new hub strengthens GLOBIS’ ambition to proactively engage with future business leaders in Taiwan and across Southeast Asia, expanding access to its globally recognized MBA programs and corporate training. This launch marks a significant milestone in GLOBIS’s commitment to becoming the world’s No.1 MBA in the Technovate Era. The English MBA program at the Graduate School of Management, GLOBIS University, launched in 2009, has successfully nurtured over a thousand graduates from 90 unique countries around the world.
With its concentration of cutting-edge industries, led by AI and semiconductors, Taiwan has become a vital hub supporting growth across Asia. Taiwan’s propensity for technology aligns perfectly with GLOBIS’ mission to empower visionary leaders in the Technovate Era, making it a key strategic location for continued growth both in Asia and internationally.
Starting in July 2026, GLOBIS Taiwan will offer aspiring professionals English Pre-MBA courses from Japan’s largest business school—available both locally and online. Alongside these individual programs, the branch will provide corporate training for local organizations, as well as networking events, leadership seminars, and personalized admissions consultations.
Comment From Stuart Parsons, Head of Individual Business B2C

A graduate of the GLOBIS Part-time & Online MBA program, Stuart brings extensive experience in admissions and student support, making him uniquely qualified for this new role.
“From my tenure working in the Admissions Office at GLOBIS, I have seen firsthand how a GLOBIS MBA can radically transform our students’ professional and personal trajectory. As the new Hub Leader for Taiwan, I am committed to contributing to the global growth of the GLOBIS brand by bridging Taiwan’s entrepreneurial energy with Japan’s unique management philosophy. By strengthening our B2C presence and collaborating closely with local stakeholders, we will strive to make world-class business education more accessible than ever, empowering Taiwanese professionals to scale their impact globally and achieve their kokorozashi.”
Comment From Shingo Daidohji, Head of Corporate Business B2B

His background includes corporate sales for a U.S. insurance brokerage and establishing the Japan office for a Spanish marble manufacturer. At GLOBIS, he consults on leadership development and new business creation while teaching business strategy and marketing in the MBA and corporate programs.
“Taiwan is where my career began, and I am truly delighted to have the opportunity to be involved in business in Taiwan once again. By leveraging GLOBIS’s solutions in leadership development and organizational transformation, I hope to contribute to the growth of Taiwanese companies while also strengthening the economic relationship between Taiwan and Japan.”
