GLOBIS: Medium-sized category (100-999 employees) 4th place
GPTW Japan evaluates survey results and certifies companies that meet its standards as “Great Places to Work.” The assessment includes employee and company surveys on workplace conditions and policies, recognizing organizations that are supporting trust, self-developing and feeling fulfilled. The top 100 certified companies with the highest job satisfaction are presented as the “100 Best Workplaces in Japan.” For the 13th consecutive year, GLOBIS ranked among the Best 100 in the medium-sized category. This recognition stems from its adherence to a core management philosophy, the GLOBIS Way, which is integrated into HR policies to ensure skill development and work-life balance—both of which are key factors in job satisfaction.
Working at GLOBIS
GLOBIS is committed to creating an “ideal corporate system” where a diverse workforce can fully realize their potential and deliver lasting societal value. As a social contribution company, GLOBIS is committed to unlocking the potential of societies, organizations, and individuals and strives to contribute to society through business. In addition to services relating to business education, GLOBIS also promotes the Mito Downtown Revitalization Project for regional revitalization in Ibaraki and engages in activities to improve Japan and the world.
To drive technology-driven business innovation (Technovate) and global expansion, GLOBIS actively recruits a diverse talent pool of engineers, designers, and professionals from around the world.
Flexible Work and High Performance
GLOBIS fosters a high-performance environment through flexible work arrangements, including flextime and remote work options tailored to individual life stages. This commitment is reflected in the proactive support for childcare leave for all genders—resulting in a 100% return-to-work rate. Women comprise 57% of the total workforce and 36% of management.
A culture of diversity is also evident in the company demographics: GLOBIS currently employs staff from 25 countries and has overseas subsidiaries in seven locations: Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai, San Francisco, Brussels, and Jakarta.

The GLOBIS Way: Values-Driven Management
GLOBIS ensures a positive working environment for their employees through the GLOBIS Way, which outlines GLOBIS’s corporate philosophy, including its vision and mission, as well as its action guidelines. It promotes alignment with the company’s core values to foster collaboration and growth towards a shared corporate culture.
This commitment has been made apparent with GLOBIS’ ranking in the Nikkei Business survey “100 Companies Recommended by Employees: Beloved Human Capital Management,” based on 100,000 reviews (October 13, 2025 issue).
This study is based on over 100,000 responses posted to the employee review site OpenWork since January 2024. The data includes feedback from current employees as well as former employees who departed in 2024 or later. The ranking analyzes scores from a 0–10 scale based on the following question: “To what extent would you recommend your workplace to a close friend or family member as a place for employment or career change?”
GLOBIS was ranked among the top 100 organizations, including foreign-affiliated companies.
The Work Style Way: Community and Connection
The Work Style Way is a part of the GLOBIS Way, fostering a corporate culture and community that emphasizes relationship building through face-to-face interaction and flexibility through a technology-enhanced work style. This includes a hybrid work style with three in-office days per week, monthly team-building activities, and annual company-wide retreats where members from various departments can exchange ideas and strengthen relationships.
