GLOBIS Receives Japan Leadership Award at the “CIO 30 Awards Japan 2025” for AI-Driven Educational Innovation

TOKYO (December 15, 2025)—GLOBIS Corporation received the “CIO 30 Japan Leadership Award” at the “CIO 30 Awards Japan 2025,” an awards ceremony honoring leaders driving Japan’s digital future, held on December 12, 2025 at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo.

The “CIO 30 Awards Japan” recognizes advanced CIOs (Chief Information Officers) and domestic companies that drive business transformation through technology. The “Leadership Award” is a special prize presented to companies that demonstrate outstanding leadership and make remarkable efforts in IT strategy and Digital Transformation (DX), awarded for the first time this year.

GLOBIS is being recognized for its efforts in “company-wide promotion of AI utilization aimed at  creating new products.” In January 2025, GLOBIS established “AGI (AI / Global / Innovation)” as its yearly, company-wide policy and set up the “AI Strategy Council,” directly overseen by the executive committee.

In addition to internal reforms, GLOBIS has introduced more than ten AI features into its main services, including  GLOBIS University, Graduate School of Management and the business e-learning subscription service GLOBIS Manabi-Hodai (学び放題) and GLOBIS Unlimited, offering key learning experience innovations.

About CIO 30 Awards Japan

The “CIO 30 Awards Japan” celebrates  technology-driven value creation achievements led by CIOs and IT department leaders who contribute to corporate growth. The award aims to support leaders  to enhance their presence within their organizations and gain external credibility by evaluating and recognizing their efforts.

Amidst the rapid evolution of DX (Digital Transformation) and the societal implementation of generative AI, the roles of the CIO and the IT department within companies are becoming increasingly important. Company-Wide AI Promotion at GLOBIS

Company-Wide Transformation: 92% of Employees Use AI in Daily Work

To realize the transformation into an AI Company, GLOBIS established “AGI (AI / Global / Innovation)” as its company-wide policy for 2025 and the “AI Strategy Council,” directly overseen by the executive committee. The council’s mission is to enhance internal productivity, evolve educational methods, and create new AI-first products. It centralizes AI knowledge and drives strategic decision-making and rapid implementation across the company.

To boost overall AI literacy, study sessions were held for all employees, with over 530 total participants. These sessions ranged from beginner topics like tool usage to advanced subjects like prompt engineering and app development for non-engineers, all while adhering to internal security rules.

As a result of these efforts, the proportion of employees using generative AI in their daily work skyrocketed from 40% in July 2024 to 92% in July 2025. Furthermore, operational improvements in various departments frequently resulted in saving over 100 hours annually, achieving both employee AI skill enhancement and productivity improvement.

Innovating Management Education: Evolving Learning Methods with AI

GLOBIS is also pioneering the evolution of educational methods using AI. Key services already incorporate over ten AI features, including a teaching method where AI complements the instructor and a new learning experience where students study alongside AI. AI replicates the quality and depth of personalized guidance previously only possible through an instructor, significantly enhancing learning outcomes.

Flagship systems and features include the patented AI Learning System GAiL (GLOBIS AI Learning); the AI natural language text analysis engine GAiDES (GLOBIS AI Document Evaluation System); the AI-powered interactive review tool GAiChaL-2.0 (GLOBIS AI Chat Learning) used at GLOBIS University; the AI coaching function GAiC (GLOBIS AI Coaching) for nano-MBA courses; and the personal AI partner Manabi Agent (学びエージェント) in GLOBIS Manabi-Hodai (GLOBIS 学び放題).
