GLOBIS University Celebrates 2026 Full-time English MBA Graduation: 56 Students from 22 Countries

TOKYO (August 24, 2026)—GLOBIS University held its annual graduation ceremony for the 2026 Full-time English MBA Program on August 23. 56 graduates from 22 countries celebrated their milestone together with friends and family at GLOBIS Hall.

GLOBIS University President and Founder Yoshito Hori addressed the new graduates with the following words:

A sense of mission comes from the pursuit of asking “Why are we born? How shall we use our lives for?”
Takamori Saigo mentioned that he had “no greed for money, fame, or power”. If you get rid of these kinds of greed for money, fame, or power, your true meaning in life will emerge.
The tremendous power will arise from within, if you know your true meaning of your lives.
If you have these 5 perspectives, with the skills, network, and your kokorozashi that you obtained at GLOBIS, I am fully convinced that you will be starting your new journey as “visionary leaders who create and innovate societies.”

Elymar Sandoval Apao, from the Philippines and recipient of the Academic Excellence Award, the first speaker of the day, shared about the importance of faith and persistence:

“How should we measure the year we have spent together? Measure it in faith. Faith that what we learned will matter. Faith that the missions we are still discovering are worth pursuing. And faith that each of us, in our own way, can make a difference.”

Shira Segal, from Israel, addressed the audience as the Student Representative Speaker, talking about the power of choice:

It is by choosing that we find meaning, and only when we are making active and conscious choices, rather than “letting things happen to us,” that we truly find our power. And I believe that as long as our choices come from a place of clarity—I believe that we can live a life that is fulfilling and meaningful, and as free of regret as can be.

The GLOBIS MBA in English was launched with the Part-Time Online MBA Program in 2009, followed by the Full-time MBA Program in 2012. Since then, 1,106 students have graduated. With more than 90% of students coming from outside of Japan, the GLOBIS Full-time MBA offers a truly global study experience. (1) Technovate MBA Courses
