GLOBIS Awarded with Medal of Honor for Regional Revitalization Efforts in Ibaraki Prefecture

Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo—GLOBIS Corporation is pleased to announce that it has received the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon from the Cabinet Office of the Government of Japan on March 27.
The Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon is awarded by the Japanese government to individuals, corporations, or organizations that have made significant financial contributions for the well-being of the public.
GLOBIS was recognized for its efforts to create a model for regional renewal in Ibaraki Prefecture. LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting System Co., Ltd., one of the GLOBIS Group companies located in Mito City, launched the annual music festival LuckyFes in Hitachinaka City with the desire to invigorate the area, including the tourism sector. The donations GLOBIS made to support these activities were acknowledged as contributions to the public good.
For its social contributions GLOBIS received the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon from the Prime Minister and the Cabinet Office Decoration Bureau. A ceremony to confer the award was held at Hitachinaka City Hall on March 27, where Mayor Akira Otani presented the certificate.
