Sonoko Igarashi

Managing Director, GLOBIS Corporate Administration Division

Ms. Sonoko Igarashi began her career in corporate sales and product development for international companies at one of the biggest Japanese hotel groups. Her next job supported the overseas expansion of Japanese companies at a British consulting company. She mainly engaged in business development and project management for cross-border projects that connected Europe, the United States and Asia.

She studied abroad in England for her MBA, then moved to GLOBIS’s corporate training division. As a consultant, she focused on organizational development for strategic planning, new business planning, and HR development for a variety of clients.

Currently, she is in charge of GLOBIS’s Corporate Administration Division. Ms. Igarashi is involved in research and content development mainly in marketing and strategy, and is also a lecturer and facilitator in many corporate training courses. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sophia University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Manchester Business School, and completed the INSEAD Transition to General Management Programme.
