GLOBIS University to Offer Loans to Students Affected by COVID-19
Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo ー GLOBIS University is offering loans for MBA students economically impacted by COVID-19. Affected students can apply for interest-free loans of 300,000 yen, to be repaid starting in 2023.
GLOBIS University moved all of its classes online on March 2 in order to provide an environment where students can study safely from their homes. With the creation of this new system, GLOBIS aims to support students suffering income loss and other economic strains so they can pursue their studies and career goals uninterrupted.
Going forward, GLOBIS University will continue to utilize new technology and provide financial support in this transformational age of business and online learning. The immediate priority of GLOBIS is to prevent the spread of infection while ensuring the safety of students, lecturers, and staff.
Outline of GLOBIS University COVID-19 Student Loans
◆What is the COVID-19 Student Loan?
This loan is designed to assist with tuition for GLOBIS MBA students facing financial hardship due to the economic impact of COVID-19.
◆Who is eligible?
Recipients must be enrolled as MBA students at GLOBIS University in one of the following programs:
・Part-time & Online MBA (English)
・Part-time MBA (Japanese)
・Online MBA (Japanese)
◆How much is the loan for?
The loans amount to JPY 300,000 and are interest free.
◆When does it need to be repaid?
Repayment is scheduled to begin in 2023.
